When the 2021 USC Marshall Global Supply Chain Excellence Summit convenes this October, humanitarian supply chains and the challenges of current epidemics are certain to be addressed…along with tough lessons learned.
This year’s theme is “Reimagine. Reinvent. Resilient. The New Realities of Supply Chain Post Covid-19.”
But the mission remains consistent with past USC summits: to connect leaders and create transformation through supply chain excellence.
Dr. Nasim Afsar, MD MBA is Chief Operating Officer for UCI Health, and oversees inpatient and ambulatory operations and financial performance. She has spearheaded and co-led innovative programs, such as implementation of telehealth, hospital-at-home and strategic partnerships, to help provide value for patients and communities. In her current role, she oversees patient progression efforts, clinical support services, ancillary services, public safety, building and construction and emergency management. She also oversees 80 clinics and the UCI Health Patient Access Center (call center, central authorization and referral center).
SCMR readers may also join virtually and in-person for the 9th Annual Global Supply Chain Excellence Summit next month.
The Summit offers SCMR readers exclusive access to numerous speaker events, networking opportunities with supply chain executives, and exposure to the latest technologies in supply chain.
Readers may also fuel their knowledge and learn about transformation in supply chain with speakers such as Secretary of the Department of Commerce, Honorable Gina Raimondo and Director of AI at Google’s Office of CTO, Scott Penberthy.
